The 'Bloggers Love' Food + Drink Festival

So last Monday, I spent the evening at a food festival ran by the wonderful Bloggers Love. Anyone who knows me knows that I love cooking, discovering new yummy brands & food in general; so this event with great fun for me. The festival was held in the very cool Kanaloa, a tiki themed London club placed near Chancery Lane in Holborn. The tropical venue was packed with food + drink stalls, brand owners + many happy bloggers/foodies.
I had a chat with food and drink brands about their products, listened to the stories behind them, and even took away some goodies to try.
I'm a sucker for the sweet things, so here are some of my favourites:

Let me first say, I'm not exaggerating when I say this hazelnut brownie from The Good Brownie Co was to die for. Not only do they have bundles of chocolatey goodness in an assortment of yummy flavours, but they also deliver them right to your door if you are in the London area. Each one is packed with organic, local, fair trade ingredients + are freshly made by hand. Despite containing no wheat + gluten, this badboy tasted like the real deal - the tasty kind your granny would make you on a Sunday afternoon. The Good Brownie Co also make appearances at farmers markets around London, so keep a look out for them! Can't wait to get my hands on some more flavours...

Next up is the fab Mallow and Marsh. I grabbed a little box of their raspberry marshmallows + was pleasantly surprised by how much flavour was packing into a single cube. When I think about fruit flavoured sweets, I often imagine heaps of sugar, followed by a faint fruity after taste. Having only ever had the 'standard' flavour of marshmallow, this little brand definitely surpassed my expectations of what this simple snack could be. I currently have my eye on the coconut + vanilla flavoured ones...

Coco Fina specialise in coconut based products; ranging from fruit snack packs, energy bars, coconut water + base products for cooking. I took away the macaroon snack bar to try - a decision I was very pleased about!
Due to it's versatility, coconut has become super popular over the past few years within the health, beauty and food industry. Having started Coco Fina in 2004, it's safe to say brand owner Jacob Thunder couldn't have predicted the future any better!
