Last weekend I finally ticked Brighton off my 'Places I want to visit' list. The one thing I've been asking myself since is... why on EARTH has it taken me so long? This colourful little city has well and truly stolen my heart. I mean, who wouldn't want to live in a thrift friendly place with a beach a close by, and a cafe on every corner?
(On a serious note though, I've never actually seen so many cafes and food places crammed into one place... how do you do this Brighty?)
If you're a massive foodie, a fan of a good bargain, or you love being by the sea, I'd definitely make the trip down. On certain days the streets are filled with market traders selling antiques, vintage pieces, and even some yummy street food.  If you want a break from the kitch side of things, there's also a decent sized shopping centre right near the heart of the city. It's filled with the usual high street shops such as H&M, TopShop, and the gem known as Pull & Bear.
The best thing is tickets from London can also be pleasantly cheap if you look for the right times, making it the perfect day trip spot!
Here is my video diary from the day, plus a few snaps...

When I'm not writing on this corner of the internet, you can also find me on YouTube, Instagram Facebook and good ol' Twitter too. Feel free to say hi, I'd love to hear from you!
